In the West, the second level of Reiki is known as the Practitioner level. Students were given two more “attunements” by a Reiki Master throughout this level of instruction, which raised their vibration to a higher degree. The energy is now focused on furthering one’s own healing and growth as well as on treating others as a Reiki practitioner. Students are taught how to feel the variations in energy and given a deeper understanding of the Chakras (energy centres). They can then scan a patient’s body before therapy thanks to this. Students are exposed to the symbols of reiki and told how to use them, which sharpens their focus and intention while performing any treatments.
Students are also instructed on how to set up a Reiki practise because Reiki Two is regarded as a professional credential in the West. Students will learn how to ask probing questions of clients, how to listen intently and empathically, how to use and store the information they gather, and more. This portion also teaches the importance of confidentiality and integrity for any Reiki practitioner. The purchase of any necessary equipment, insurance, and promotion are further topics covered. Additionally, students are taught the value of maintaining their bodily, mental, and spiritual health as well as their energy health.
The practitioner level, Reiki Two, is taught over the course of two days. Once you have successfully finished this certificate programme, you will be able to provide professional Reiki treatments to clients for a fee. This second degree advances the Reiki teachings and continues to broaden your energies in addition to certifying you as a practitioner. You will receive two more Reiki attunements throughout the course. Complete course notes are available for this course.
