Why Learn Reiki?

Reiki is a skill that you may master to help you take control of your health and wellbeing. You can use your newfound understanding of how to move energy and influence energetic systems to better your own health as well as the health of those you care about.

In order to make the world a healthier, happier place to live while also directly healing your close friends, family, and neighbours, it is crucial to maintain an active presence of natural healers in every community. By learning reiki, you can do this.

Who carries out Reiki?

All healers work with life energy, however not all healers practise reiki. Only those who have been attuned to it can practise Reiki, a specific type of energy medicine. Anyone can get attuned to practise reiki, and once attuned, a person can continue to use reiki for the rest of their lives.

Reiki is a component of the Eastern energetic medical heritage, and it is now starting to be used in hospitals in the west. Reiki training and attunement are being given to nurses and volunteers, and in some jurisdictions, reiki training is acceptable for continuing education credits for nurses.

Everyday people and medical experts who work in both the alternative and conventional healing fields use reiki in communities all around the world.

How Can You Learn Reiki?

Reiki instruction is available in person through classes and online through distance learning. The advantages of receiving a reiki education and attunement are the same whether they are given in-person or via a distance learning course. Cost is the key distinction. In-person classes are typically more expensive and frequently do not offer many course materials for future reference.

What Are the Different Reiki Training Levels?

You can go through three different stages, or attunements, when learning reiki. At each level, practitioners gain a deeper comprehension of reiki healing and acquire new abilities that help them heal both themselves and others.

A practitioner can start utilising reiki on oneself and other people during in-person sessions after completing Reiki 1, which covers the fundamentals of reiki healing. Since practitioners are attuned to reiki, even if you have previously engaged in another form of energy work, you can only start using authentic reiki once you have received your initial attunement.

Reiki 1 aims to open up reiki energy channels all throughout your body and assist you in beginning a regular self-reiki practise at home.

A greater understanding of reiki is provided by Reiki 2, and students are taught how to heal people and communities that are located distant from a practitioner’s current position by sending distance reiki via time and space.

Although you can start using reiki on yourself and others after passing level 1, the goal of level 2 is to allow you to use your healing skills to assist in the healing of others.

The reiki master level attunement, also known as reiki 3, elevates practitioners to a teaching level and deepens your understanding of reiki to the point that you may impart it to others. For those who want to practise reiki healing professionally, receiving this attunement and training signifies a serious dedication to the practise and concept of reiki.

It’s advantageous to obtain your initial training in that style as well because much of reiki in the more advanced levels (2 and 3) relies around remote healing and using your healing ability for individuals who are not physically there. Reiki energy can be given or received without being physically present, and training is no different.

Distance learners are better able to focus on the flow of reiki energy through oneself and establish a strong connection with the universal life energy all around them because the distractions of physical proximity are taken out of the picture.
