Please Read These Terms Carefully By downloading, installing, or using the Expense Tracker application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Rishvi Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the Expense Tracker mobile application (“App”).

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them.

If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. About the App

Expense Tracker is a personal finance management application that allows users to:

  • Record and categorise income and expense transactions
  • Set and monitor monthly budgets
  • View analytics and spending trends via charts
  • Set up recurring transactions
  • Generate PDF financial reports
  • Back up and restore data using encrypted files
  • Receive local notifications for reminders and budget alerts

The App operates entirely offline. All data is stored locally on your device. No internet connection is required for core functionality.

3. Licence to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Rishvi Ltd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install, and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Accuracy of Data

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all data you enter into the App. Rishvi Ltd does not verify, validate, or review any data you input.

4.2 Device Security

Since all your financial data is stored on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We recommend using a screen lock, keeping your operating system updated, and protecting your device from unauthorised access.

4.3 Backup Responsibility

You are responsible for creating and maintaining backups of your data. The App provides a “Share Backup” feature that opens your device’s native share sheet, allowing you to save the encrypted backup file to a location of your choice — such as your own Google Drive, email, or another app. This is a user-initiated action; Rishvi Ltd does not initiate, control, or have any access to where you choose to store your backup.

Rishvi Ltd is not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, App uninstallation, failure to create backups, or any other cause. We strongly recommend creating regular backups and storing them in a safe location you control.

4.4 Notification Permissions

If you enable notifications, you are responsible for ensuring your device settings allow the App to deliver notifications. Rishvi Ltd is not responsible for missed notifications due to device settings, battery optimisation, or operating system restrictions.

5. Financial Information Disclaimer

The App is a personal finance tracking tool only. It is not a financial advisory service, accounting service, tax service, or investment platform.

Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or any other professional advice. The information and calculations provided by the App are for personal tracking and informational purposes only.

You should consult a qualified financial adviser, accountant, or tax professional for advice specific to your financial situation. Rishvi Ltd accepts no responsibility for any financial decisions made based on information displayed in the App.

Budget calculations, balance figures, and analytics are based solely on the data you enter. The accuracy of these figures depends entirely on the accuracy of your input.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, user interface, features, and all content created by Rishvi Ltd, is the exclusive intellectual property of Rishvi Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

The Rishvi Ltd name, logo, and “Expense Tracker” branding are trademarks of Rishvi Ltd. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

Your data (transactions, categories, notes) remains your own. You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any calculations or reports
  • Warranties that defects will be corrected

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rishvi Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rishvi Ltd and its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss of data, including financial data stored in the App
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, business, or goodwill
  • Any financial loss arising from reliance on App calculations or reports
  • Any damages resulting from device failure, theft, or unauthorised access to your device
  • Any interruption or cessation of the App’s functionality

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which, if the App was provided free of charge, is £0).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Data Loss

Since all data is stored locally on your device, Rishvi Ltd has no ability to recover your data in the event of loss. Data may be lost due to:

  • Uninstalling the App
  • Factory resetting your device
  • Device damage, theft, or loss
  • Accidental deletion within the App
  • Operating system updates or failures

We strongly recommend regularly creating encrypted backups using the App’s built-in backup feature and storing them in a safe location (e.g., your personal cloud storage). Rishvi Ltd accepts no liability for data loss.

10. App Updates & Availability

Rishvi Ltd may release updates to the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We recommend keeping the App updated to the latest version.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

The App may not be available in all countries or regions. We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in any particular location.

11. Third-Party Platforms

The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Your use of the Google Play Store is subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Rishvi Ltd is not responsible for Google’s practices.

The App includes a “Share Backup” feature that opens your device’s native operating system share sheet. This is a standard Android feature — the same one used when you share a photo or document. From the share sheet, you choose where to send the encrypted backup file. Common choices include saving to your own Google Drive, sending via email, or storing in another app.

Rishvi Ltd does not integrate with Google Drive or any other cloud service. We do not request access to your Google account, we do not read or write to your Google Drive, and we have no visibility into where you choose to store your backup. Any interaction with Google Drive or another third-party service is solely between you and that service, and is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

When you use the App’s share or export features, your use of any third-party application you choose is governed by that application’s own terms and privacy policies.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@rishvi.co.uk to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days of receiving your complaint.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rishvi Ltd regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you through the App or via the Play Store listing.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

The current version of these Terms is always available at Expense Tracker Terms & Conditions – AUM REIKI.
